Podio: how to customize Podio to fit your process

Podio Tip #1 By now you will have probably noticed that apps are the tools used in Podio to organize and track your work. These apps create records known as items – for example, an item could be a sales lead or project deliverable. You could think of items as single photos and apps as the albums. To reflect the specific work you're doing, you can customize your apps. By clicking Modify Template in any app you can change naming, add and remove fields, or even build something new from scratch, all without a single line of code. This may sound daunting, but really it's far from it. In fact more than 1.5 million customized apps have been created in Podio! The Help Centre has a beginners guide to get you started today.
